Here are a couple of radio spots that feature past clients talking about our clinics:
From our clients:You made sure everyone was understanding
the lesson and gave enough time. You explain things in such a common sense
way. Thank you for sharing your gift with others. What a blessing
you are to two and four legged!
Thank you for having bottles
of water for breaks and trail mix and other healthier stuff. The meals were
wonderful! The only bad thing was I was too full to eat more. Thank you for being patient
with all of us. Even more, thank you for being supportive when things
weren't going so well and for the praise you gave us and our horses when we made
progress. You made us all feel comfortable working with you, which made it
easier to ask for help when we needed it.
Ginger is a wonderful and
creative cook! Good variety and quantity of food. Looking back
on 2007, the day at horse camp with my sister and our horses was the highlight
of the summer. Thank you so much! I wish you much success in your
endeavors. Horses and owners need people like yourselves who not only have
knowledge of horse behavior but also love and respect the animals. It was more
than I expected! It was worth more - but I appreciate the modest price. As a
professional trainer of gated trail horses I truly enjoyed every minute of your
clinic. Learned lots and plan to use your thoughts and obstacles on my
clients and friends. I loved this clinic! I have been to many clinics during my horse life. This one should be mandatory for every horse owner. - Linda Hemet, CA I must say thank you, thank you, thank
you. He has been doing great. He still gets nervous when a horse comes up on
his flank, but as far as respecting the bit and all that, he has been going
well.
I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how things were going with Bailey – you may not remember this but one of the main issues I was having with him when we came to your 2 day clinic a couple of years ago was his behavior when he came off the trailer. He would load and ride good but tended to rush off the trailer and then try to power me around and just generally act like a 2 year old who had never been anywhere rather than the 15 year old horse he was. Anyway, you told me that what we had was a backing problem, not a trailer issue, and we proceeded to do a lot of backing work with the obstacles over the course of the weekend. When we got home that Sunday night I had to actually go into the trailer and back him out rather than worry about how I was going to keep him in there until I was ready, and he was calm and collected the whole time, so I was very pleased. Fast forward to now. My neighbor invited me to take some cow work lessons with her at a nearby ranch, and I was sort of hesitant because I figured with all the time that had gone by Bailey was probably going to have reverted to his former “bad traveler” behavior. To my very pleasant surprise he calmly walked off the trailer and proceeded to behave fairly good the whole time. Today was our second lesson and he was almost perfect – like an 18 year old horse who has been places should act! So anyway, I just wanted to let you know how well it stuck with him and how glad I am that we attended that clinic. Sooner or later I’ll retire him and find myself a younger horse, and then I’ll be at another one of your clinics! - Kristen |
